for our Powder Solutions division

The Powder Solutions division is a world-leading provider of tungsten products used in the manufacturing of high-tech tools and metal powder for manufacturing technologies such as Metal Injection Molding and 3D printing. We serve a wide customer base spanning industries including automotive, aerospace, energy, infrastructure, electronics, and mining. With unique expertise and extensive experience, coupled with a strong focus on sustainability, we're well-equipped to further strengthen our current position and foster the growth of our business.
Your mission and responsibilities:
In this role, you play a key part in securing high quality financial reporting, planning and analysis on a global scale.
- Together with your colleagues in the team you provide consolidated financial insights for the performance management process, follow up on actual results, as well as validate business cases and investment proposals on a global divisional level.
- You are working on rolling forecasts, analyze, and follow up on performance, and present your findings and recommendations to senior management to support & drive decision making.
- You contribute with your financial knowledge to various change and development projects.
- You work closely with your colleagues to drive continuous improvement of global controlling processes and strengthen cross-functional alignment.
- You are an active part in driving the digital & data journey from a financial & controlling perspective to optimize processes, gain speed and add value for the business.
- You support communication at all levels in the organization and closely work together within our internal stakeholders within the Division and Sandvik Group
The location for this position is preferably in Austria (at our headquarters in St. Martin or in Vienna), other locations in Europe might be an option for the right candidate.
Your background and profile
We're looking for someone with a background from a similar role in controlling. Experience within a larger listed company in a global matrix environment is an advantage.
- Your theoretical knowledge is backed by a university degree within finance or other relevant area.
- Expertise in ERP tools (e.g. SAP) or consolidation systems (such as OneStream) is an advantage.
- You work proactively and systematically with an analytical mindset which thorough allows you to keep an overall view and at the same time, spot the details that make the difference.
- You have a passion for digitalization and use of new technologies and techniques.
- We operate in a global context that requires fluent English and good German skills (written and spoken).

Based on the collective bargaining agreement we offer you an annual gross salary starting from EUR 65.000 for fulltime. Your actual salary will be market competitive and takes individual qualification and experience into account.
