GBS - Finance Project Expert (f/m/d)

How you'll make your mark

Your main tasks in this role are:

  • As a Finance Project Expert, you will work within the newly established Global Business Services (GBS) team as part of the Finance service tower to facilitate the further development of the GBS organisation and drive significant value creation for ALDI SOUTH GROUP globally
  • This involves supporting the implementation of new shared service opportunities within the Finance service tower, facilitating innovation and efficiency
  • You will support project management for the rollout of new shared service opportunities
  • Organising and facilitating workshops with internal stakeholders and sharing best practices are part of your responsibilities
  • You will provide relevant information and support for related business cases, analysing the financial implications for the organization
  • You are responsible for monitoring service delivery from vendors, ensuring compliance with established quality assurance standards and reviewing performance against service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Your responsibilities include managing risks, issues, and mitigation strategies related to Finance service delivery to ensure smooth operations
  • Monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to Finance processes, ensuring alignment with operational goals, complement your field of expertise
  • In addition, you'll create compelling presentations for international management discussions and offer project updates and status reports to various stakeholders

Your profile

The requirements of the role include:

  • You have completed studies in the field of Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related subjects
  • You possess minimum 3 years of work experience in Finance, Project Management or Controlling, preferably in the context of an international consultancy
  • You bring specialized experience in project and risk management as well as in developing mitigation plans
  • You have proven skills in vendor management, specifically in monitoring service delivery and performance against SLAs and KPIs
  • You are self-motivated, enthusiastic and able to work independently with a high degree of initiative
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail is a matter of course to you
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multinational and cross-functional environment sets you apart
  • You have advanced Excel skills, PowerPoint, Jira & SNOW skills are of advantage
  • You are fluent in English, proficiency in German is an advantage
  • You are willing to travel internationally and embrace a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • You have a desire to be part of a growing team, with the opportunity to influence the future of the GBS Finance service tower

Remuneration

Gross annual salary starting from EUR 60.900*
*willingness to overpay with appropriate qualification
