Group Markets Compliance is responsible for the implementation of and adherence to Compliance regulations regulating global capital markets (external legal regulations like MiFID and the Market Abuse Regulation). Furthermore, the team establishes and maintains surveillance of internal regulations for Erste Group Bank AG and various subsidiaries to prevent misbehavior in the markets business (i.e. insider trading, market manipulation, etc.).
Your Tasks
- Support the Markets Compliance team in the areas of market manipulation surveillance according to the Market Abuse Regulation (MAR)
- Cooperate and investigate illicit behavior on stock exchanges
- Perform quality assurance and maintain specific datasets
- Perform controls of system generated alerts based on a market manipulation suspicion
- Support group and local projects on demand
Your Background
- Ongoing studies at University/University of Applied Sciences in business administration or law
- Genuine interest and knowledge of capital markets
- English language (fluent) is a must and German is an advantage
- Knowledge of the relevant legal framework is an advantage (MiFID, MAD/MAR)
- Technical/functional skills and interested to develop and enhance a system in use
- Self-guided, effective and pro-active work approach
- Professional working and communication style
- Teamplayer and integrative personality
Our Offer
- Exciting and challenging full-time (38.5h/week) or part-time internship (19.25h/week) as of January 2025 until December 2025
